All About LCT

The Lakes Community Theatre is a non-profit organization. Our goals are to promote and produce live theatrical performances that enhance the social, cultural, entertainment and educational well being of the Iowa Great Lakes Area community.

Each year, LCT awards a SCHOLARSHIP to a graduate of a Dickinson County school, already attending an institution of higher education and actively participating in any area of fine arts, including music, speech, drama, art or dance.

The Lakes Community Theatre's BOARD OF DIRECTORS produces all productions with volunteers of all ages and backgrounds with the support of our many SPONSORS. If you would like to volunteer your talents of acting, carpentry for set construction, costumes, make-up, props, house staff for performances, helping with child care for rehearsals or working at various fundraisers, please contact one of our board members. We would love to have you join us!
